Karen was born and raised in the DC metropolitan area and began her start in the mortgage business at the age of 19 when she worked as a receptionist and later in operations, while attending College.  Growing up around the business— her mother is a well-respected mortgage banker of 35+ years— she learned early on the importance of helping others and enjoying what you do. Upon graduating from Radford University in 2004, Karen became a production assistant to Countrywide’s largest producing loan officer in the mid-Atlantic region. She continued to move up the ranks, developing a wide breadth of experience, and went on to manage the FHA 203K renovation sales team on a national level. With over 14 years in the business, and having excelled in her numerous roles, Karen is now one of First Home Mortgage Corp’s leading loan originators. Her superior performance has earned her many accolades in her career to include President’s Club, Leader’s Club, Top Volume Production Team, and Top Purchaser Volume Team.
